Part-time faculty teaching a MM 113: Introduction to Multimedia course required by all Art and Multimedia freshman. The course teaches the basics of multimedia production including digital photography, compositing using Photoshop, web development, animation using Flash, audio production using GarageBand, basic video production, and vector imaging using Illustrator.

Developed the company's corporate website for first assignment in Drupal, the popular open source PHP-based content management platform. Built and implemented multiple other websites utilizing Drupal. Many of the sites take advantage of strongly categorized content and custom PHP to extend the abilities of Drupal. Developed a CakePHP-based web application to dynamically build XML files used in company’s proprietary Flash-based learning presentation software. Developed touch-screen interactive applications for clients including Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center and Pioneer Hi-Bred.

August 2005 – May 2007

Performed significant updates to PHPLabMan, the PHP/MySQL-based equipment check-out system. Updates included designing and implementing an automatic fine calculation system for late fees, client-side customization features such as independent weekday and weekend operating hours, and addition of a primary/secondary key relationship for determining check-out limits based upon enrolled classes. Maintained and administered two Mac OS Xservers and responsible for the care and upkeep of over fifty Macintosh computers.
